The Work and Holiday Programme (WHP) is a new type of visa which has been introduced by the Ministry of Manpower in late 2007. It allows students of universities / similar institutions and graduates entry into Singapore for 6 months. During this period, the WHP holder can live and work in Singapore. Applicants must be between 17 and 30 years of age. They must be nationals of or having studied in the following countries: Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.
